Canadian pop star Justin Bieber » faces two
more charges after been arrested in South
Western Ontario, Canada Tuesday, marking
another major hit with the law in less than a year.
The 20-year-old singer was taken for dangerous
driving and assault following a collision between
a minivan and an ATV that led to a physical
altercation on Friday near his hometown of
Stratford.
According to a spokesperson for Perth County
OPP, Bieber went to a police station and was
arrested, then released on a promise to appear in
court Sept. 29 and never showed up.
OPP Constable Kees Wijnands said there were
no injuries as a result of the collision, but could
not say whether there were any injuries from the
altercation.
Bieber was photographed recently in
southwestern Ontario riding on an ATV vehicle
with actress and singer Selena Gomez.
According to reports, Bieber's ATV collided with a
minivan on Friday, which was what led to the
altercation.
The singer was also expected to appear in court in
Toronto next week for an assault charge he picked
up late last year.
