Robin Williams: Mara Wilson pays tribute to Mrs Doubtfire co-star

Actor's on-screen daughter shares heartbreaking message on her blog, 'I've always worried about losing people I care about, but I never could image losing Robin'

MARA Wilson has paid tribute to Robin Williams a week after his death.

The 27-year-old actress opened up about his desire to make people laugh and said her on-screen dad "always reminded me a little of my father".

"I wish we had talked more. I wish I had reached out more," she said in her touching blog post.

"I've worried so many times about losing so many people I care about, but I never could imagine losing Robin."

Mara first acted with Robin in the 1993 blockbuster Mrs Doubtfire when she was five-years-old.

Talking of her experiences on set with the late actor, she said: "Robin would do anything to make me and the other kids laugh.

"Those hand puppets that dance alongside the genie in Aladdin's "Friend Like Me"? That must have been his suggestion, because Robin made those in real life.
