What to watch on Tuesday,
November 4...
SEASON 2 PREMIERE, 8pm, Fox
MasterChef Junior
Sixteen pint-sized prodigies compete in the first
challenge, to prepare dishes including the favorite
ingredients of Season 1 winner Alexander Weiss.
Then the elimination round will pare the
contestants down to 12.
8pm & 8:30pm, ABC
Selfie
While spending a weekend at their boss's estate
—devoid of cell reception, no less—Eliza and
Henry get up to some mischief in "Even Hell Has
Two Bars." Then in "Never Block Cookies," Eliza
decides to find Henry some romantic prospects
to ease his perpetual grumpiness.
SEASON 2 FINALE, 9pm, PBS
Makers
"Women in Politics" rings in Election Day with a
look at some of the trailblazing women in the
realm of public office. Profiles include Hillary
Clinton, Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), former
Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME), and Shirley
Chisholm, the first African-American woman
elected to the House of Representatives.
9pm, ESPN
30 for 30
"Brothers in Exile" spotlights half-brothers Livan
and Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez, who became
baseball stars in their native Cuba before fleeing
to the United States and the major leagues.
9pm, ABC
Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop
Walt Disney Company arm ABC celebrates the
history of Walt Disney Company arm Marvel
Comics in this special hosted by Walt Disney
Company employee Emily VanCamp . Featured
topics include the company's rise to prominence
in the 1960s, the juggernaut that is the Marvel
Cinematic Universe, and that time Loki turned
Thor into a frog who was still basically Thor but
was also a frog (Nope, not joking.)
9pm, Fox
New Girl
Winston's police academy training demands the
loft be scrutinized in "Background Check," and
the contents of Jess's closet may raise some red
flags.
9pm, NBC
Marry Me
In "Annicurser-Me," the anniversary of Jake and
Annie's first date is dampened when a nasty
storm forces the gang into a basement shelter.
While there, Gil's leadership instincts catch
everyone off guard, and the secret contents of
Jake's desk bedevil Annie, Kay, and Dennah.
9:30pm, Fox
The Mindy Project
Danny decides to learn Mindy a thing or two
about promptness in "Caramel Princess Time,"
though I suspect J. Walter Weatherman might
warn him against such a course of action.
Elsewhere, Tamra and Morgan set Peter up on a
blind date.
9:30pm, NBC
About a Boy
A troublemaking classmate catches Marcus's
eye in "About a Bad Girl." But when the smitten
lad takes the rap for his crush's latest misdeed,
Fiona and Will are at a loss to respond.
10pm, FX
Sons of Anarchy
SAMCRO is roiled by internal conflict in "What a
Piece of Work Is Man." Will the eternal dispute
over whether to serve lemon squares or whoopie
pies at the annual Northern California Motorcycle
Club Bake Sale never be resolved?!
10pm, BET
Real Husbands of Hollywood
Shooting on 47 1/2 Hrs. is underway in "A
Blurred 47 1/2 Hours." But Kevin's antics on the
set may prompt director John Singleton to
replace him with his rival, Mike Epps.
10pm, MTV
Awkward.
Conflict abounds in "Girl Rules" as Jenna and
Gabby clash on Matty's 18th birthday while
Tamara and Sadie vie for control of the
cheerleading squad.
10:30pm, MTV
Faking It
It's date night in "Date Expectations," and the
whole gang enjoys the scrumptious fruit of the
date palm and its many nutritional benefits,
including potassium, B vitam... wait, what?
Social activity of some sort, you say? Romantic
undertones? I am not familiar with the word in
this context, no. You learn something new
everyday, I suppose.
10:30pm, USA
Benched
Nina's ex-colleagues are unmoved when she
attends a soiree honoring public defenders in
"Downsizing." Still, she'll be on the show again
next week and most of them probably won't, so
that oughta show 'em.
11pm & 11:30pm, Comedy Central
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart / The Colbert
Report
Both shows tackle the Election Day postmortems
with live episodes. The former's "Democalypse
