A woman in Kaduna has been charged to court
after she allegedly caused severe injury to her
neighbour.
A complaint was filed by one Sanusi Sa'adu, of
Nasarawa Village in the Kaduna South Local
Government Area, who reportedly accused the
suspect, Amina Muhktar of pouring hot water on
his wife, Asiya and causing her burns on her
breast and arms.
The victim had reportedly gone to fetch water in
Mukthar's house when the alleged attack
occurred.
Asiya is reportedly receiving treatment for her
injuries in a hospital while a court has ordered
that the suspect be remanded in prison pending
the determination of the case.
The matter has been adjourned to 24th
September, 2014 for hearing.
