Stoke have announced the signing of Victor
Moses on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The 23-year-old, who moved to Stamford Bridge
from Wigan in August 2012, has struggled to
make an impact for the Blues.
He was loaned out to Premier League rivals
Liverpool last season, but made just six starts,
and did not impress Brendan Rodgers enough to
earn a permanent deal.
Now Moses has linked up with Mark Hughes' side
at Stoke, with the club confirming the Nigerian's
arrival ahead of their opening game of the season
against Aston Villa.
The signing of Moses further adds to boss
Hughes' attacking options, coming after the
headline acquisition of Bojan Krkic from
Barcelona.
The former Crystal Palace youngster is Stoke's
sixth signing of the summer.
City chief executive Tony Scholes said on the
club's website: "We are delighted to have secured
the services of such an exciting young talent in
Victor.
"He will certainly add to our attacking options
and from talking to him it's obvious that he's
really excited about the prospect of making an
impact in the Premier League with Stoke City."
