NICKI Minaj is renowned for her controversial collaborations and out-there performances.
But this time it seems the booty-shaking beauty has taken it a step too far, as one of her backing dancers was bitten by a snake during rehearsals for her Anaconda single - ironically.
The six-foot reptile attacked the dancer as she spooked it on stage while they prepared for the singer's upcoming VMA performance.
According to TMZ, the unnamed dancer is being well looked after at a local hospital in Los Angeles, after being bitten by a boa constrictor.
And although the Super Bass hit-maker was obviously hoping to make this her most exciting and over the top performance yet, it's still unknown as to whether the snake will appear on stage with her tomorrow.

But in the meantime, fans are able to catch a glimpse of her raunchy Anaconda video which has recently been released.
It sees the bare-butt star flaunting her infamous oversized rump in a variety of skimpy outfits which highlight her perky assets.
And of course, it wouldn't be a naughty Nicki Minaj clip without watching her twerk-tastic booty being featured in someone's lap - Drake's lap to be precise.
If your video is anything to go by, we cannot wait for the VMA's.
