she'll play yet another on the show's popular spin-
off The Originals, TV.com has confirmed.
The writers are finally going to pay off a storyline
that was first introduced in The Vampire Diaries'
third season. If you can remember back that far
(and kudos to you if you do, because a hell of a lot
has happened since then, and I need a color-
coded flowchart to keep it all straight), you may
recall the name Tatia from a conversation
between the Mikaelson brothers.
Tatia was the woman whom Klaus and
Elijah both loved (hmm, where have I heard that
before?), but she was killed by their mother, the
witch Esther, to prevent Klaus from becoming a
hybrid. She's the original doppelgänger, and
apparently it's finally time to meet her.
The character will appear opposite both brothers
via flashbacks in The Originals' fifth episode,
which is slated to air Monday, November 3.
