North West's mum claims the accusations are 'frustrating' as her husband refuses to apologise
KANYE West is refusing to apologise to wheelchair users after he asked them to stand up during his concert in Sydney.
The Yeezus star told fans "I can't do this show until everybody stand up" before asking his bodyguard to check why one audience member hadn't got to their feet.
When he discovered he was in a wheelchair, Kanye replied: "He is in a wheelchair? It's fine!"
Howerer when word got out of Kanye's blunder the 37-year-old rapper accused the media of trying to make him look like a "bad person".
"At my concerts I make sure everybody has as good a time as possible. So all this demonizing me, it ain't goin' to work after a while. Pick a new target. Pick a new target. Because I'm not one of these dumb*** artists that you're used to," he said.
Kim Kardashian later defended her husband by sharing footage from her beau's gig, commenting: "What an amazing Australian tour!
"It's frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media.
"Kanye never asked anyone in a wheelchair to stand up and the audience videos show that.
"He asked for everyone to stand up and dance UNLESS they were in a wheelchair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNight #TheMediaTwistsThings."
We're not sure that's entirely true, Kim.
