IT feels like only yesterday Coleen Rooney gave birth to her first son.
But Kai is growing up fast as the four-year-old completed an all-important rite of passage today.
The time has come for the WAG to allow her first born to fly the nest as he attended his first day at school this morning.
Wayne Rooney's wife couldn't be prouder as she took to Twitter to beam about her son's big day.
Little Kai looked all grown up as he posed in his adorable school uniform before heading off to reception.
"Kai looking smart on his first day at school," the 28-year-old said.

The mum-of-two has recently spoke about how she juggles a blossoming fashion career with motherhood.
"I'm really lucky to have an amazing family who support me with the children, allowing me to work in the industry that I love, while being a hands-on mum, too," she said in this week's OK! magazine.
