No ruling yet on culpable homicide as at the
time of this report.
A South African Court has ruled out the case of
murder in the on-going Oscar Pistorius-Reeva
Steenkamp case.
Judge Thokozile Matilda Masipa this
morning, Thursday, September 11, 2014 in
Pretoria, South Africa, ruled that it's irrelevant
that Pistorius thought he shot an intruder, when
he actually shot Steenkamp.
'Pistorius had intention to shoot the person in the
toilet - but not the intention to kill', Masipa says.
Masipa however says there's no doubt that when
Pistorius shot through the door, he acted
unlawfully.
No ruling yet on culpable homicide as at the time
of this repor but IF Oscar Pistorius is found guilty
of culpable homicide, the sentence he faces is at
Judge Masipa's discretion.
