What to watch on Monday, July 21...
8pm, ABC Family
Switched at Birth
On a trip to Chicago with John, Bay searches for
her cousin while Daphne's rebellious side comes
out. Back home in "Girl With Death Mask (She
Plays Alone)," Kathryn polishes off her Cupid
bow-and-arrow to play matchmaker.
8pm, The CW
Whose Line is it Anyway?
The Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar is the
guest star. Guest-comic Brad Sherwood hopes
this doesn't mean he'll have to riff on Einstein-
Rosen bridges and molybdenum and that sort of
thing.
8:30pm, The CW
Backpackers
In "A-MILF-ey Coast," Ryan and Brandon contact
Beth's brother for clues as to her whereabouts,
but he wants something in return. Elsewhere on
their quest, the guys encounter Brandon's
childhood celebrity crush on the Italian shore.
SEASON 2 PREMIERE, 9pm, Fox
Hotel Hell
Gordon visits the Meson de Mesilla, a dilapidated
New Mexico resort whose owner would rather be
a singing star than a hotelier.
9pm, ABC Family
The Fosters
Complications with Lena's pregnancy send the
family into crisis mode in "Mother." Meanwhile,
Mike tells Stef what happened the night Ana
disappeared, Wyatt consults Brandon for
romantic advice, and Mariana continues to fume
at Jesus.
9pm, TNT
Major Crimes
A serial killer is prowling Los Angeles in "Two
Options." Can the team thwart him before he gets
his own spin-off?
9:30pm, The CW
Seed
Harry gives Billy a few pointers for boosting his
popularity at school in "Zygote Problems." Yet
somehow I suspect advice like "raise your hand in
class a lot" and "wear a propeller beanie" may do
more harm than good.
10pm, CBS
Under the Dome
Big Jim and Rebecca the Science
Teacher contemplate drastic measures in order to
preserve the town's dwindling resources in
"Revelation." In Dome-ier developments, more
information about Melanie's past and her ties to
the Dome come to light. Spoiler alert: Turns out
she and the Dome spent the better part of 1998
robbing banks across New England.
10pm, MTV
Teen Wolf
"I.E.D." finds Scott, Stiles, and Kira taking the
lacrosse… field, right? They call it a field in
lacrosse, not something weird like a pitch or a
flump or something? I don't know from lacrosse.
Anyway, in non-lacrosse-related business, Lydia
tries to find help with her powers.
10pm, PBS
POV
"Dance for Me" follows a pair of teenage
professional dancers, one Russian and one
Danish, as they forge a bond while advancing
through Denmark's highly competitive pro dance
circuit.
10pm, ABC
Mistresses
The ladies help Savi bid farewell to her house in
"Affair to Surrender." I know, I know, it's sad, but
all houses have to grow up and strike out on their
own someday. I'm sure it'll do just fine at Vassar.
Elsewhere, Joss connives to keep Harry in the
country while trouble involving Jacob and her
client puts Karen between a rock and a hard place.
10pm, A&E
Longmire
A farmer's murder is complicated by a life
insurance policy in "Harvest." Meanwhile, Sean
delivers an ultimatum to Vic.
10pm, TNT
Murder in the First
Blunt's attorney moves swiftly to take advantage
after a key witness turns up dead in "Suck My
Alibi." Um, hey Murder in the First? Not that we
don't appreciate the effort, but the poll is called
"Episode Title of the Week," not "Skeeviest
Episode Title of the Week." Just for future
