What to Watch Tonight: Pretty Little Liars, a Friday Night Lights Reunion on Drunk History, and Face Off's Season 7 Premiere

What to watch on Tuesday, July 22...
8pm, ESPN
30 for 30
In "Slaying the Badger," cyclist Greg LeMond
recalls his first Tour de France win, besting
friend/rival/mentor Bernard "The Badger"
Hinault in 1986.
8pm, ABC Family
Pretty Little Liars
Aria begins her volunteer work/recon mission at
Radley, where she encounters a fiery but
potentially useful patient. Elsewhere in "The
Silence of E. Lamb," Spencer gets her hands on
some of Ezra's spy gear, and Hanna is caught in
the crossfire between Ali and Caleb.
8pm, PBS
Al Capone: Icon
This profile takes a balanced look at America's
most infamous mobster. One the one hand, he
was an unrepentant mass murderer. On the other
hand, he helped make Geraldo look like a giant
doofus on live TV, and for that we should all be
grateful.
SEASON 11 FINALE, 9pm, PBS
History Detectives Special Investigations
"Who Killed Jimmy Hoffa?" is the question at
hand as History Detectives investigates new
evidence that may shed light on the mysterious
fate of the teamster boss, who vanished in 1975. I
can tell you one thing for sure: He did not move
to Chicago and begin writing for popular
television-related websites under an assumed
name. Ha! No sir! Where would you even get such
a crazy idea that's crazy?
SEASON 7 PREMIERE, 9pm, Syfy
Face Off
"Life and Death" kicks off the new season with 16
contestants—except they're not yet officially
contestants. First they must make it through one
final audition. Also, there's a ton of paperwork the
producers simply forgot about, the filling out of
which should make for riveting TV.
9pm, TNT
Rizzoli & Isles
Maura hits a medical examiner convention in
"Knockout," and I don't even want to hazard a
guess at what you'd find in the goody bags at one
of those things. Back home, a temporarily solo
Jane turns to Susie for help solving a crafty
murder.
9pm, USA
Royal Pains
Hank and Divya treat a housesitter with a Peter
Pan complex in "Electric Youth," while Jeremiah
bonds with Viviana while seeing to her dancer
friend. Meanwhile, Paige stumbles upon a wrinkle
in her business arrangement, and Emma feeds
dirt to a local gossip site.
10pm, FX
Tyrant
Barry rushes to seek a peaceful outlet for the
protesting citizens in "Hail Mary," but Jamal has a
more brutal solution in mind. So, I see no one
here took me up on my pancake breakfast
suggestion last week. See what happens when you
don't listen to me, people? See what happens
when you don't listen to pancakes?
10pm, TNT
Perception
Moretti's search for an abducted infant leads into
strange territory in "Inconceivable." Sadly, there's
no indication that Wallace Shawn will reprise his
role as Vizzini from The Princess Bride to holler
that title a few times.
10pm, MTV
Finding Carter
Carter reels from Bird's double-cross in "Now You
See Me." Meanwhile, Lori returns with a shiny
new plan in tow.
10pm, USA
Covert Affairs
In "Elevate Me Later," Auggie's emotional ties to a
potential asset throw a wrench in his and Annie's
mission in Paris. Stateside, Joan tries to find a
love connection for Calder, and Arthur departs on
his first McQuaid Security operation abroad.
10pm, Comedy Central
Drunk History
Adrianne Palicki and Jesse Plemons are
among the guest-stars in "Baltimore," so you just
know someone is getting murdered and dumped
in a river. The tipsy tales center on Abraham
Lincoln, Francis Scott Key, and Edgar Allan Poe.
Other guests include Charlie Day and Jason
Ritter.
10:30pm, Comedy Central
Nathan for You
Nathan helps a liquor store crack that elusive yet
lucrative market, underage drinkers. Later, he
helps an exterminator and a car wash drum up
business.
